Kompetar (operated by Vynapse LLC, a Delaware limited liability company) uses a minimal set of cookies. Essential cookies are always on because the service cannot function without them. Analytics cookies are optional and only set if you opt in.

Essential cookies are required for Kompetar to function. They handle authentication and session management. Without these cookies, you would not be able to log in or use the service. These cookies cannot be disabled.

Preference cookies remember choices you make (such as your theme preference) to provide a more personalized experience. These are not strictly necessary but improve usability.

With your permission, we use PostHog to understand how Kompetar is used so we can improve it. We do not sell this data, share it with advertisers, or use it to track you across other websites.

This covers three things, all opt-in:

• Product analytics: page views, button clicks, conversion funnels (signup, first competitor added, first alert).
• Session replay: an anonymized recording of how the app is used so we can debug broken flows. Form inputs are masked before recording.
• In-app surveys: occasional short surveys to ask for product feedback. You can dismiss any survey.

Anonymous visitors are not profiled. Once you sign in, events are tied to your account so we can connect feedback to real usage. You can opt out at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.

Kompetar does not use:

• Third-party advertising cookies
• Cookies that track you across other websites
• Social media tracking pixels
• Cookies that profile your browsing behavior for ad targeting

The fastest way to manage analytics cookies is the cookie settings panel. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from using Kompetar, since authentication requires them.

• Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies
• Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies
• Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
• Edge: Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions

If we introduce new types of cookies, we will update this policy and notify you where required. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
